The House of your dreams
The home we imagine will probably need to incorporate sustainable and efficient technologies, will have to be flexible to respond to changes in the needs of family members, and will benefit from technical innovations or new sustainable materials in a context of possible climate changes.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Teams of 2 to 4 participants between 6 and 12 years of age participate.
Teams must also have 1 mentor.
How do you participate?
1. Preparation of the project by researching the topic, project design, project construction and poster design.
2. The team uploads the project to the platform.
3. The jury scores the projects
4. Announcement of the winning teams.
5. Teams that wish to do so will be able to show their projects to the rest of the participants at the Robotics Arena on June 7
WHAT ROBOT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?
You will need the CyberPi Project-Based coding Kit which has a CyberPi, and several extensions.
WHAT ARE THE KEY DATES?
May 5, 2025. Deadline to upload the project to the platform.
May 6-19, 2025. Jury evaluation.
may 23. Announcement of the winning projects on the Platform.
June 7, 2025. Teams that wish to do so will be able to show their projects at the Robotics Arena.
WHAT IS VALUED ABOUT THE PROJECTS?
The teams and their projects will be evaluated on five competency dimensions, which include:
- Design, structural and exterior.
- Innovative thinking, innovation and research.
- Electronic technology
- Programming
- Communication, oral expression and presentation.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE IN SPARK?
Registration for the MakeX SPARK competition costs €40 per team.
Registration includes:
- participation in the official competition
- access to the OpenScientia content platform
- right (upon request) to show your project to the rest of the participants in the Robotics Arena on June 7.
The CyberPi Project-Based coding Kit is priced at 165 EUR, or 149 EUR if purchased at the time of registration.
An average class of 24 students would have about 6 teams, and 6 kits (1 kit per team).

How many teams do you want to register for MakeX SPARK?
How many CyberPi Project-Based coding Kits do you have? If you need to purchase one, you can do so from the form itself. The Scientia Foundation will subsidize a portion of the price to those registered in SPARK who place their order at the time of registration.
How many of your teams will attend the Robotics Arena on June 7 to present their project to the rest of the participants?
